Is there a tagging feature?

You can use tags.

There is no dedicated tag feature, but the app has a search feature. For example, write a tag such as "#math" at the beginning or end of a note. When you search for "#math" from the search icon at the top right of the Notes screen, only the notes with that tag are shown.
