On Android, you transfer your data with the app's "Google Drive Backup" feature. This feature is free.
▼ How to transfer
- On the old device, open the menu (≡) at the top left of the Notes screen → "Backup", tap "Sign in with Google" and sign in with your Google Account
- Tap "Create backup data" to create a backup (if a backup already exists, tap "Overwrite backup")
- Install this app on the new device
- On the new device, open the menu (≡) → "Backup" and sign in with the same Google Account as on the old device
- Tap "Restore from backup"
That's all it takes. Please note that both devices must be signed in with the same Google Account.
* Android's own device backup and the data-transfer tools used when switching phones do not include this app's data. Please always use the backup inside the app.
* If you use the Premium Service, open the menu (≡) → "Premium Service" on the new device and tap "Restore" (for users who purchased before). With the same Google Account you can use the Premium Service again without buying it a second time (see "I want to use my purchase on another device").
* Data cannot be transferred between the iPhone/iPad (iOS) version and the Android version.
