Open the menu (≡) at the top left of the Notes screen → "Settings" → "Notes Settings" → "Character Settings", move the slider to the text size you like, and tap "Apply". You can adjust the line spacing and text weight on the same screen.
To change the text size on the Calendar screen, go to "Settings" → "Calendar Settings" → "Character Settings".
